Privacy policy
Sideseen is an app for iOS and Android that shows values you choose, read from a data source you control. It is made by Mykola Popov (Nick Popov), an individual developer in Spain, who is responsible for this policy. Contact: support@sideseen.app.
In short: the developer does not collect any of your data. Sideseen has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
What stays on your device
- Your setups: the addresses of your sources, the values you chose and how they look.
- The latest values and their history, so the app and widgets can show them.
- Access keys, stored only in the iOS Keychain or in Android Keystore-encrypted storage. A key is sent only to the address of the source it belongs to.
- Your settings, such as the theme and whether values show on the Lock Screen.
None of this is sent to the developer or to any third party. Keys are not included in device backups or transfers. Deleting a source removes its data and key; deleting the app removes everything.
Network requests
- Your sources. Sideseen requests your values only from the https addresses you confirmed. Those servers are run by you or by whoever you chose, and their own policies apply.
- Setup instructions. The app may download the current instructions for AI agents from sideseen.app. The request contains no personal data, values, addresses or keys.
This website
sideseen.app is a static site hosted by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse; the developer does not use this data to identify you.
If you email support, your message and address are used only to answer you and are deleted when no longer needed.
Children
Sideseen is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data about you. Because the developer holds no data from the app, such requests normally concern support emails only. You may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new effective date.
